I think we should start a topic about developing an official Logo and Mission for CANSA.

We are getting ready to revamp how we evaluate our wellness programs. If you have wellness programs and evaluation tools to go with it, we would love to see them. We are thinking of a pre and post-evaluation tool. Right now we have a post-evaluation but we need to gather more data so we can show our funders the impact these programs have on our clients.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Regarding the name change, I suggest we stay away from anything with the word “American” so as to minimize confusion with ACS. Also, it may be necessary to include the word “Association” so that people recognize that this is an affiliation of independent organizations. Maybe something like “National Association of Independent Cancer Service Agencies”, or “The National Alliance of Local Cancer Service Agencies”. These are just suggestions off the top of my head. I have never been a big fan of using an acronym for the name of an agency. To me, a name should describe and a jumble of letters doesn’t do that.
